Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging StateHill Company Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations in the Province of Ontario.

2. Services and Estimates

We provide property maintenance, repairs, and landlord support services. All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days. In accordance with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, final invoices will not exceed the written estimate by more than 10% unless additional work is authorized by the customer in writing.

3. Payments and Deposits

A deposit may be required before work commences for larger projects. Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, e-transfers, and other approved payment methods.

4. Cancellation and "Cooling-Off" Period

For contracts signed in your home, you have a legal right under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act to cancel the agreement within 10 days of receiving a written copy. Beyond this period, cancellations may be subject to a fee to cover administrative costs or materials already purchased.

5. Liability and Insurance

StateHill Company Inc. maintains commercial general liability insurance. While we take every precaution to protect your property, we are not liable for pre-existing structural issues or damages occurring outside the immediate scope of work.

6. Work Standards and Cleanup

We commit to performing all work in a professional, workmanlike manner and in compliance with the Ontario Building Code where applicable. We will leave the work area in a clean and safe condition upon completion.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
